Tutorial: Using the UO Gateway / Ultima Codex Network
When the Ultima Codex was being built, an emphasis was made on social networking and communities (or community if you want to see it as one large community) among the various sub-domains of the Ultima Codex network, including this site.
Compared to the old sites that now make up (or will soon make up) the Ultima Codex, the new design includes better/easier commenting, forums, contacting other users both publicly and privately, and a few other things here or planned for the future.
As I mentioned in the tutorial linked below, if you’re registered on one part of the Ultima Codex, such as Aiera or the UO Gateway, you can participate with other community members on the other sites.
I’ve put together a brief tutorial on some of these features, such as:
– Editing your profile
– Editing your avatar
– Sending somebody a public or private message
– Replies/Comments
– The Forums
Most of you already registered and interacting on UltimaCodex.com are probably familiar with everything I’ve written, but I’m hoping this will help future members of the network.
