UO Producer on Bring a Friend to UO, Siege EM

Jeff Skalski, who is technically the Producer of the Ultima Franchise and not just Ultima Online, is very good about replying on Twitter to some of the questions posed to him by the UO community.

Today was no different, he commented on both the EMs (or EM) returning to Siege Perilous, as well as a “Bring a Friend to UO” program. Most of the MMO “Bring a Friend” programs will reward you with some kind of gift or reward if you bring a friend to UO and they go on to subscribe for a certain amount of time. Some reward you with gametime or discounts. It’s different from the ‘Return to Britannia’ program, which should be active 100% of the time.

In response to Ultima Auctions asking about a program such as “Bring a Friend to UO” coming back:
“We plan to reactive that program as we get closer to our Anniversary date. More details on that later in the summer.”

A question was asked by UO Junkie about when the Event Moderators (EM)s will make a return to Siege. Jeff’s response:
“Originally targeting for May, but I’ll keep you posted when I know the exact date.”

If you’ll recall, Mesanna (UO Associate Producer), earlier this month announced that Siege will get a dedicated EM.
