Ultima Online still a top game!

This week 2 gaming sites have included Ultima Online in their top games of all time and why shouldn’t they?

Complex Gaming recently published a list of the best PC games.  We are very proud to see that Ultima Online was ranked number 8 of the 50 Best PC Games of All Time!

Once again, Ultima Online has made it to the top! Time recently posted a list of the 100 greatest video games of ALL-TIME and Ultima Online made the list. We are honored to be listed with so many great games and are truly proud of Ultima Online being “The Best of the Best”.

Ultima online celebrated it’s 15th birthday this year shaped the way that MMORPGs were built, produced and sold it changed the way we interact and gave us all a higher bar for how a game should be! So I would say it is a well deserved place in these top list of games.

Firstly the website Complex Gaming, which has brought together a list of  what they consider to be “The 50 Best PC Games Of All Time” Where they have included Ultima Online not only on the list but in the TOP 10!! UO managed to get in at #8 beating off games like  Guild Wars which came in at #31! So it is great to see the recognition Ultima Online deserves!

Secondly Time’s Tech section compiled a list of their “ALL-TIME 100 Video Games”  and is arranged by decade from the 70’s to the present. The Ultima franchise has managed to get two mentioned on two different decades! one of which being UO of course! which is included in the 1990’s. Now although they don’t rate the games which include Diablo II, Space Invaders and another loved Origin game Wing Commander, it does give us the chance to vote for each game to say if we think it deserves to be in this exclusive list! So I check out UO’s score and notice that there is a distinct lack of enthusiasm to UO’s place here! If you feel UO deserves it’s place please head over and vote!

It is really nice to see UO get the recognition I feel it deserves being included with some of the gaming industries best known games really makes me feel proud to be a fan of UO!
