EA’s Answer HQ Beta – Ultima Online is Supported!
I clearly have not been paying attention to EA Support, but thanks to a couple of alert people, I’ve been made aware of a “new” project Electronic Arts has started, EA’s Answer HQ.
When I say I haven’t been paying attention to the support, I mean it. It’s on the front page of EA.com, it’s on the front page of Help.EA.com. It’s mentioned on EA Support’s Twitter and EA Support’s Facebook pages.
Even thought it was formally announced three weeks ago, the first Ultima Online question was asked over a month ago!
What is EA’s Answer HQ you might ask? I’ll let EA answer that:
Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or brand new to the gaming world, everyone needs a little help sometimes. So we’ve created EA’s new Answer HQ. It’s a community initiative to have players share their gaming expertise with other players. This is the place where your ideas shape the community, where sharing knowledge is rewarded and where you can climb the ranks to be the hero.
The Answer HQ isn’t just an ordinary message board or support center. It’s a new approach to our community experience and a fun way of helping players get answers and get back in the game. Players that ask and answer questions will be earning XP, and climbing the heroic ranks of the Answer HQ.
You’re seeing this community’s first functional form – a beta. Priority number one is improving the Answer HQ with some of the best and brightest ideas from our community. If you ever feel like something is missing, we want to know. We can’t emphasize it enough! We want to create a fun experience that is equally beneficial as it is enjoyable. With your input, we will build towards that goal. It’s something we take very seriously.
Keep an eye on the Ultma Online section! This is a very good chance for members of the UO community to help new and returning players as we head into the 15th Anniversary.
