Ultima Mapper – Updates Coming

It’s barely been just over a week since UO Mapper was approved for Ultima Online as a 3rd party program, and already there is a round of upgrades planned.

These updates are ‘coming soon’ for Ultima Mapper:
– The next release will contain much higher resolution maps. This should help all you T-Hunters and various others get a better idea of where you are.
– A marker and overlay system rewrite is in progress. Under the new system, users will be able to easily update and share markers, and create their own overlays.

There is also a ‘MapWindow.Lua’ for Enhanced Client (EC) users who do not use a UI mod now available in the downloads area.

By the way, while UO and the Ultima Mapper clients are developed for Windows, the Ultima Mapper server software comes in three flavors: Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
